What is PassagePal?

PassagePal is an AI-powered educational tool that generates custom decodable passages for K-6 students. Each passage is specifically designed to match the phonics skills your students are practicing.

How does it work?

  1. Choose a phonics skill - Select from dozens of skills like short vowels, consonant blends, or digraphs
  2. Generate a passage - PassagePal creates an engaging passage aligned to that skill in seconds
  3. Assign to students - Send passages to individual students or entire classes
  4. Track progress - Monitor reading accuracy and completion in real-time

What ages/grades is PassagePal for?

PassagePal is designed for K-6 students (ages 5-12) who are learning to read using phonics instruction.

What are decodable passages?

Decodable passages contain words that follow specific phonics patterns students are learning. This allows students to practice "sounding out" words using their phonics knowledge, building reading confidence and fluency.

Is student data safe and private?
